Couple other words of advise, depending on the track and there rules, make sure your bed is clean. They don't like stuff flying out on the track. Also make sure you take a helmet. Some places make you wear them if your under 14.0. Motorcycle helmet, ATV helmet, whatever you have. Wear jeans, I almost wasnt able to run one time because I has shorts on. LOL Like I said it depends on the track.

I've never had that happen. I know the last time I ran at Mason Dixon in Hagerstown MD they told me I couldn't just use a DOT rated helmet anymore. That was in my Mustang though. They now require a SNELL rated helmet because of their NHRA certification. I can't imagine a place enforcing this for people in everyday trucks because not everyone wants to blow $300 on a helmet to barely use it.

So I have to take off my ladder then? yeah, i called yesterday. Under 14 must wear a snell approved helmet, which I already have thankfully. Over 14 i apparently have to wear a mask to cover my face :flush:

haha, just screwing around i have no expectations. I did just try launching in 4x4, felt good. Nothing went snap or boom. Left softly at 10 psi.

With my truck I just have a tune intake exhaust and ficm tune. I messed around with launches for a bit and I liked when I left at 17psi I would say 15-17 would be best.

Anything over 17psi and I get wheel spin even in 4hi. I leave at around 15psi and all is nice and smooth. I was havin' trouble with my launches at 20psi and (I believe this is his name) CuttingEdgeDiesel told me to drop back to 15psi. The wheel spin went bye bye and it was a smooth launch. Shaved some time too.

I'm not sure why my nephew took the video sideways.

Truck had a better run in her, but the driver needs more experience. In the slip above, I for some reason let off towards the end. I thought the run was over, not noticing the red light that flashes to tell you..its over... my first run had a top speed of 97.39, but a slower overall time. Third run i thought i had everything figured out, but i got red lighted.

What is the length of time, once the other lane stages both lights and you've only staged one?

After the third run, i decided to call it a night. A little voice inside said "dont break your ride home"
