Hard creeky brake pedal

For a while now my truck has been hard to stop. I just figured it was the vacuum pump again so I changed it with no luck. I have also changed both front calipers and one front brake line. The brake pedal sort of creeks down and it’s really hard to get the truck to stop. Oh and the master cylinder is only about a year old but it seems like lately they are reman-ing parts to break so idk. Any help would be appreciated

Pull a vacuum on the booster-- if you can't pull a vacuum, it's got a leak and won't assist

Ok thanks would a power steering flush help? The fluid is black lol

Might help your steering, but won't do squat for the brakes. Lol
