Have opportunity to purchase a '12

Guy has 2012 for sale. Has 21k miles, GN hitch, black leather, new goodyear MTR's. He wants $45k. What do you guys think?

a 2014 platinum for 46k new????? i'll be booking a flight to texas to buy my 6.7 that's crazy. 2012's and 13 lariats are listed for 48k and the dealers here don't like budging on there prices at all.

I can tell you this much, I just traded my 11 king ranch in, with 85000 miles, and it had 2 dents, several dings, broken mirror, the rawhide seats were wearing badly, tires were less than 50% left, and I paid 28k out the door on a plat that listed for 66910. I thought they were very fair considering the condition of my trade. They showed they paid 36k for the trade in the paperwork.

Yea I looked at a completely loaded black platinum last summer and loved it. I'm kind of tired of a white truck.

Well the guy irritated me till I went and took it for a test drive today. The Goodyear MTR tires suck. They're loud and I could feel it in the steeringwheel enough that it would make my hands tingle. No navigation. Has the backup in the rear view mirror. B&W gooseneck. Line-x. 40/20/40 front seats which I did not like. Black leather heated and cooled. 3.55 gears. Electric locker. 11,500 GVWR. Memory group. Remote start.

Has some other stuff but thats the main items. After driving that Platinum last summer it was kind of disappointing.

Are there any issues I should look for? I did notice after I shut the truck off I could here what sounded like a vacuum pump running. Anyone know what that is?
