Uh, you need to find another shop. Why don't you start with the symptoms first. Do you have a dead hole?

he told me we wont know exactly until we pull stuff off, video shows the symptoms
, it sounds alot louder now, although it was filmed with a gopro so sound isnt the best ** intake is a very temporary thing, not permanant**

Bent valve spring?
Honestly I don't see that being the case unless you shimmed the hell out of them and ran into some coil bind.

when i get stuff apart then i will know, he told me either bent intake valve or some rings in the motor? but more toward the intake valve

Ok, bent valve makes sense. Just pull the valve cover and watch it run.

watched it run and things look normal, there enough room under the hood of my 89 to remove the head and such without pulling the motor suprisingly

what do you mean? the spring? couldn't see anything else, i have not taken the head off yet, i stopped at the push-rod thinking that could be it

Make sure the cylinder is at bdc and tap the top of the valve with a mallet to se if it moves freeley. Did the new pushrod bend?

i will do that here soon, and not that i know of since i just got it back together
