I know the history and hate to bring it up but black widow has some on their site that imo look like they would hold up better that the ones di sells plus says the can make them out of 321 stainless for high heat. I know all the ones marketed are stainless but why. I kinda want some regular mild steel ones, i think the welds would take the heat much better. I fall into the had some group and they were true obs ones. I finally got tired of fixing cracks. One of them was even starting to droop in one spot from heat.

Hey thanks guys! I still havent made up my mind but am leaning more toward just buying new manifolds and having them ceramic coated.

Powerstrokenstang:
I looked at some of your picture and can see what you mean about them cracking and sagging. Thanks for the info.

I like the looks of black widows headers! What is the issue with them that you speak of? I have never done any business with them.

Long story short. Some trucks showed up at his shop for work, trucks sat for a long time, trucks were damaged, parts were lost, and people were overcharged. Hopefully he got his stuff together these days, but I wouldn't take the gamble myself. Do some searching on PSN back around '07 or '08 IIRC. That's when a lot of it went down.

Side note, I never did business with BB, so all I know is what I remember reading back then.

Are there issues with the stainless steel up pipes and turbo mounts as well?

Would bellowed up pipes help with the cracking?

stroken' tatsch:

Forget jet hot for coatings, if you want the absolute top of the line best coating you can get contact swain tech coatings.... They have to be some of the most knowledgable people I have talked to when it comes to coatings and their coatings actually work like they say they are... I didn't use them the first time and regret it but from now on anything I need coating these guys will do it!
