HELP!! Ahhhhhhhhh 6.0

Ok 05 6.0 has head studs and egr cooler delete so im driving home get dead pedal very little boost black smoke rough idle, get home tube going to map sensor busted, replace tube and truck runs perfect! Drive 2 miles and truck does same thing, dead pedal very little boost takes forever to get to 10lbs, check hose its fine, check all other hoses there all good? Wtf, now truck idles rougher and gets white smoke out exhaust no check engine light....



Things checked and replaced so far:

Map sensor tube

Cac boot hot side nearest turbo

EGR cleaned

Took off fuel filter started with hot wire from starter no bubbles in bowl so no open injector? Im guessing

To diagnose this you need to scan it and see what codes you have. With out the codes your only guessing, and guessing gets expensive.

Thanks gary, will the generic scan tool from advance pull sufficient codes or do i need some real expensive one

The cheap one's don't work very good, you need a real scanner to get accurate information.

Did you ck to make sure all the plugs are tight going into the ficm?
