Help i dont know what tuner is on my truck

I need a little help! I just picked up a 2006 6.0 that obviously has a tune in it but the dealer did not have the tuner or know what kind was used by the PO. Is there anyway I can find out what tune it has or clear it out and start over? Appreciate any advice yall have.

ask the dealer to reflash the pcm to the latest ford calibration.

Just buy a tuner of your liking and flash over it.

on a 6.0, if it was flashed with a bully dog or H&S, you don't want to just program over it

now, on that note, you could take a bully dog or H&S, program it to the truck, and then return to stock, and it will put the OEM .hex file on the PCM.

if it was previously flashed with an SCT, you could just load an SCT on it and roll out.

I would want to start with a clean OEM tune just so you know where you're at. If you lay an SCT over an on-the-fly tune, it won't be right
