Considering you said you are 30min away from MPD, I would highly consider them. If you ever need work done to the trans after it is installed you are 30min away and not hours.... think of it that way.

i agree they are close, but. This comment is not a bash on mpd but i dont here alot about there trans work. Maybe im looking in the wrong places? just trying to go the correct route so i dont have to worry about this part of the truck for a while

ok on a side note, when i spoke with the salesman at twisted i asked him if they put in 5r110w version instead of the 5r110. From what i have read the "W" is a better trans since it has updated parts etc. the salesman was not sure what i was talking about. Hmmm on this. Should i be concerned with this? I normally don't ask a simple question after simple question but what i know about transmissions is ziltch.

There's no difference. Daryl knows his ****. If there was a difference with the W they'd ask you whether you had a W or not as a core.

The 6.4 5r110 was built a little bit beefier to handle the additional STOCK torque that the 6.4 has over the 6.0.. again stock.

Mark Kovalsky will even tell you that himself...

I'd at least call MPD since they're so close, so if something does go wrong they're right there. I'm pretty sure Craig built the trans in Mikes truck too. And we all know how he likes to break stuff yet it help up

I dont know what Warrens warranty is, MPDs is 2 years and they use DPC torq. conv. New electronics and new pump too. Twisted doesnt do that unless its needed. Guessing/assuming MPD uses new remans?
