Help...starting system failure

Went to start my truck after it has sit all day and it is saying starting system failure. I think it might be something wrong with the key but I'm not sure.

If the batteries aren't good, they just installed a new PCM in one of our trucks and they had to put a new starter in mine because of it. Both of them said that in the dash display.

Do you have any aftermarket modifications? Things like remote start, anti-theft, insurance DLC monitor, lighting, or audio? All of those things can result in a starting system fault, and they are the cause 99.9% of the time.
