Sounds like a cracked piston. Start it up and pull the oil filler cap off and record a video of the blow by. My buddies sounded exactly like that when a piston cracked.

Ya buddy thought it was valve train because he popped open the air filter box and could hear it popping back through the air intake and could not hear it at exhaust end so thats how he came to that conclusion anyhow. Oh well if cracked piston i guess it's a bigger treat down than i thought haha

Had one do that and it was the exhaust push rod that was broke. But you said you checked all of the push rods and rockers, right?

Yup checked the push rods and rockers. Actually replaced the rocketed cause they were pretty mashed week a couple of them were. Seemed to remedy the problem for a short time then the noise came back.

Don't use those headgaskets. Stay with oem. You might get lucky and not have a cracked piston..
I know I've heard a few thump in the intake from a trashed lifter but your video sounds more like a piston is cracked.

Well what do you guys recommend? read nothing but good reviews for black diamond.. and reading some other forums the black diamond gaskets are the exact same as OEM only with a different color of sealant. anyone know anything else on this??

I'm running the black diamond's from Mahle with no issues. I will say though, I am running H11 studs and NOT standard ARP's. If you want a price on a "kit" like mine, shoot me a PM and i'll see what I can do.

A lot of people say standard arps do the trick but In a high hp 6.0 and 6.7 Cummings standard arps aren't enough. H11s, 625s and O-ringed heads seem to be bomb proof.

Many use custom age studs in the Cummins world. Plenty of people have issues with h11s and not Arps, and vice versa. There was a big debate a while back about arp and h11 studs. I don't think there was ever a conclusion as to one being better than the other. The material and tensile strength is different for each, but I can't recall what the conclusion was on total force applied with each brand's desired torque value was.

I have stock gaskets, and Arps here. Typically see 80lbs of boost, and have pegged my 100lb back pressure gauge when dialing in the gates. Not a single issue.
