Yeah, figured out the MFD. Sorry, should have fixed that. Mine idles nothing like a stock OBS does. It's not smooth. It's not the knock or rattle that I am concerned with. It's the hiccup/miss/lope or whatever it is.

Soooooo, whats the problem here? Looks and sounds like a non stock injected 7.3 to me.. what is you icp doing at idle? Jumping around a lot?

My truck has a slight idle surge at idle no matter if in park or in gear. My ICP's and IPR% was always rock solid steady at idle on the stock sticks. When mine surges (650 to 800rpm) my ICP's jump 100 or so psi and the ipr% jumps from 11.3 to about 15%. Doesn't really do it till full warm.
What sense do you make of that?

Unplug your icp sensor while its up to operating temp. If idle stays the same then your icp sensor is messed up or is messing up.... if it changes then its working and im guessing your ipr is going south.

I have heard that a hybrid injector 7.3 can idle like stock but I have yet to see one in person. I think everyone should have told you they can idle close to stock.
