High egt issue

First off I do believe you have an issue somewhere.

As someone who goes to Pismo alot, what size tires are you running. 5th wheel Toyhauler? If so thats a lot of frontal area. Automatic? Are you dropping down to 3rd on the hills?

Is the Pyro in the exhaust manifold or the DP?

The brakes are not dragging and I do have about 60psi in the tires.

I believe I do to but I'm not sure where. I am running 35 inch tires and 4.10 gears.

The pyro is in the exhaust manifold.

pressurize the cac side and spray every spot down with soapy water. that setup should tow like a dream and not be worried about egts..

The toyhauler is a tow behind. Ya I always drop to 3rd and most of the time I'm in 2nd to keep the egt's down.

I'm not sure how hot it ran with stock injectors I bought it with the swamps. Going 60 mph egt's are 660* . I will try that tomorrow and see if there are any leaks.

I had Swamps 160/100's 38R T500 Swamps IDM on a L99 I never ever had a EGT problem.

I used to tow 10-12K on swamps full fuel drag file no problem IIRC I used to see 1400 WOT and 800-900 cruising at 60 towing. 35's 3.73 ECSB.

op, you still have the stock style fuel pump correct? the fass is a lift pump feeding the stock style pump right?

Good to know that there is someone around that area that is willing to help. I head to Pismo 6-7 times a year. Actually headed down next Friday.

I think i finally figured out why I was getting hight egt's. when I pressure tested there was a huge leak on the plenum so I have some riff raff plenums on order. Hopefully this fixes the issue.
