High idle anyone?

I mean I let it warm up long enough to get oil pressure and then that's about it.

Why would it clog the intake system? They generally have a open loop for warm up that disables many emissions components

lol.. even the butterfly valve in the dpf!

Cold start idling to "warm up" is dumb. Even on old trucks that have cold start issues.

7.3...two gp cycles (if they arent new) and crack it off. If it's above 25 i dont even start it before i leave. If its 20 or colder ill go out and start it in my clothes and the go back in to get the rest of my shti and then just drive away. Always warms up driving, never idling.

I mean like 10 minutes or so, not an hour. And excessive idling clogs dpf's and intake systems. I work on trucks that idle alot, and have seen the after effects.
