High mileage 6.4's ???

Looking into buying a 6.4 to pull my camper/horse trailer and plow snow with. Looking at a few with 210-230k miles on them but still very nice trucks. Anything to be worried about or to check out. All are bone stock and would be getting ******d and tuned very soon after. Just wanted to know what I should stay away from. Thanks

Thats interesting. In my neck of the woods i see a lot more HPFP system failures and cracked pistons than anything else. I dont work on near the volume of trucks you do though...

Same here sootie. Broken rockers/pushrod too. But a bunch of pistons.

Most of the ones up here I see and hear about are cracked pistons, cracked heads, cracked blocks and a lot of rocker failures.

Hate to admit but I've done maybe 7 fuel systems. But have diod maybe 25. Either they junk them or I sell them a complete engine. 50/50.

$12k for fuel system on a 150k engine or $18k for new engine with warranty...
