I gotchya. With more pressure, would more oil be circulating more often? Thus wearing down the lubricating properties of the oil, faster?

Can't be any worse than big HPOP's or just a chip on a stock setup calling for more oil which in theory would cause it to wear out faster. The only time I notice any difference on my truck is if its running 3 quarts low or better...seeing as how my truck tends to spring another leak every time I fix leak somewhere else. I have run my truck 10k miles on dino oil (by mistake) and it acted no different than when I changed the oil afterwards. Pretty sure Joe knows to check the oil by all the trial and error experience he's has with these things.

Jeez, I have two oil pressure gauges on my truck.

One in the filter test port. Idles around 16-18 at 198* ECT, hwy cruise is just shy of 40 to just above 40. Cold idle is 45ish

The one in my res warm idle is 9-10 and warm has never gone over 24 even at WOT
