Hole in carpet

Does anyone know why there is a hole here? It's an 2008 F259 Harley truck. Obviously there is a bolt of some kind there but I just noticed it now.

Looks like the folding tray is missing .

Yep, that's a bolt hole for the fold out tray, or for captains chairs in the rear.

Yeah... no fold out tray.... Do they make a cover for that or am I SOL?

I cut a piece of carpet and put in the hole it makes it less noticeable

I've repaired bigger holes in damaged carpets. I'm sure you could cut a piece of a wrecked truck and stitch it into the hole.

just get yourself a fold flat tray. They can be had for about 75-80 plus shipping. They really come in handy if you have pets or ever carry anything that you don't wanna leave in your bed to be stolen but don't want to put directly on your clean carpet.
