I have a 2009 f250 lariat long bed. My buddy and I just put a 14 inch PMF suspension lift kit on his truck. I really like how it sits but I don't want to copy cat his truck since we both have identical trucks. I really want a PMF lift because of how good the quality is. I'm thinking either 12 or 16 inch lift. Here's some pictures of my buddy's truck.

Have you had a truck that was lifted that much before? And is this going to be your daily driver?

For now it's my daily driver. I haven't had a lift that big before. I've had an 8 inch on a half ton truck

If it were me, I'd consider a smaller lift. Not because of MPG or anything like that, but because at some point it becomes a hassle to drive and get in and out of. My truck's right at that breaking point where sometimes I wish I would've went with a 4'' instead. If I were you I'd look at bwarning's or rdunagan's crew cab long beds. They're both smaller but still look tough.

If you're stuck on a huge lift, might as well go with the 16''. I can't imagine 12-16 really being any different once it's up there that much, plus then you can give your buddy crap about his little truck.

Very true. What's your input on coilovers? Do you think it's worth the extra money?

I had that same question in another thread a while back. What I got out of it were coilovers are great, but at the height I'm at the travel would be limited compared to the coil and shock. I'm sure at such a higher height they'd be a good option. But this is what I went with instead. Icon bypass shocks with Icon coils. Rides pretty good to me, and I'm still not done messing with the settings.

Trevor outsources coil overs to somewhere but there have been a couple members that have gotten his and been happy. It'd be convenient and he can probably build them however you want.

I would defenitly do coilovers bro i have a 10" lift on 38s i upgraded to 2.5" dual rate coilovers not to long ago and the difference was night and day... If i where in your shoes i would go with the BIG lift its gonna be a hassle driving it at 10" and above anyways (trust me it gets old) so you might aswell go big just my 2cents ...

Lol. All these "you should do this bro"s...if you want a.big truck, dont care about being hasseled, and like white women... go with 16 and 44s. Dont waste money on kings, fox, etc. My recommendation...big shocks. Google them

If you're going that high, buy the nicest lift you can possibly afford. Save longer if you really have to.
