and honestly, thats why i quit pushing stuff.. some one wants oil cooler n delete on a 05, guess what, im pushing them for a STC update also... they dont want it at that time when everything is right there, easily accessed, well thats too bad, your getting charged book hour for it when it blows.. and potentially blows out your rear cover and bends branch tube..

Yep yep! I actually replaced maybe 10 of those front gears and never had a truck return because of a lifter failure. That's what's weird to me. And how do those pieces get passed the screen on the pickup tube?

have you ever seen the screen? you can fit your fist through it?

first thing I'd do if I owned a 6.0 is make another pick up for it... I mean it sucks full sized needle bearings through it...

135xxx on my 05. I've put about 18,000 on it since I bought it. Already replaced an oil cooler, new injectors are going in next weekend. Truck runs strong for the most part. Had alot of stuff done to it when it was under warranty though.

I've got on 03 excursion with 430,000 kms. HG went once at 180,000kms but it still has 4 original injectors. It still gets driven everyday.

193k...only real problems were trans at 180ish and oil cooler at 190k...went ahead and "bullet proofed" it when the oil cooler was done.

Just a reminder to you guys doing studs soon. Replace the lifters while your there... Juast had my lowest lifter failure last week @ only 200k miles...

How many of these have you replaced lifters on and used the old cam? Always heard not to do that, will cause cam lobe wear problems??? I'd love to be able to do it though.

No real issues to speak of. Running like a top. I did the studs a few weeks ago but it didn't really need 'em at the time.
