Another thing to note...
IIRC 80 and 200% nozzles are honed the same way. The 100% has a rougher finishin process.
Yes, 30,80,200, and 400 are unmolested nozzles. Well a stocker obviously too.
100 has rough edges from the machining from 80 to 100ish. Affects the results of.tuning.
I dont understand how this keeps getting messed up. I purchase these nozzles directly from the guy that receives the import from Italy(also funny because im accused by others of using chinesse crap). I get all the info i want directly from his mouth.
One last time, the 80 and the 100 start off as blanks with no holes(just as all the sizes do). The 80 and the 100 have the same size hole burned in them. Then the nozzles are then EH to clean up the EDM process. The 100 just gets that little bit more EH to make it flow the extra.
How more EH'ing causes "The 100% has a rougher finishin process" and "100 has rough edges from the machining" blows my mind. That is exactly the opposite of what EH process does.
Yet another misleading statement made that once again turns to gospel.
Less EH has proven itself time after time as a better nozzle. These nozzles kicked the ass of the previous EH on even new stock nozzles way back when they first came out.
We have been using these since about the begining of 2006.
We do see a few issues with them, but these are all cought on the flow bench. We have had only a handfull of problems once they leave our hands since we started using them. And we do have some of the 400% out there as well.
