I noticed over a 100 degree drop in EGTs with the install of my AFE ic compared to a BRAND NEW Ford ic.. now if only I could keep my diesel site boots on Ide be in good shape.

Tried cleaning with Ether and using hairspray?

What sucks about reusing stock boots after they are covered in oil from the crank case, is that they never really hold that we'll anymore (especially on the hot side)

I popped the upper boot off and it broke the plastic mounting tabs for the intercooler. I'm looking at replacement intercoolers. There seem to be quite a few that are high quality all-aluminum but they are pricey.

Any experience with this CSF intercooler? It's listed as with aluminum tanks.

I have seen little benifit in after market coolers. My truck would only run 120 degrees intake temp on a 90 degree day at 75 psi...works pretty well I think.
