How to black chrome?

So I was asked how I did the tinting on the chrome so I thought I'd post if others wanted to replicate it.
I start off with good cleaned part. Can't stress the clean part enough. Then PPG Dx 533 the parts as per the P Pages.
Then some Matthews Spray Bond Adhesive 274 793SP. After following the dry times I mix up my tinted base coat. I use PPG Envirobase water bornes. Using the clear mixing toner and a combo of blacks, blues, violets and some others not to go over 15% of color to clear, I get my color I like. Spraying it like a Mid coat or a candy over the spray bond In even lite coats till I Get my desired effect. After it flashes out then I clear them. I use Deltron DC 4125 CeramiClear.
If done right It will live as long as any other refinished surface.
