How to remove mirror caps

Think I read somewhere that you tilt mirror down and push black tabs and pop out cap. Can someone just confirm that.

The caps? Or the marker light covers?

Gently push the top of the cap towards the front of the truck (they rotate into place from the bottom when being installed).

The covers are the ones where you have to move the mirror to access the latch.

The top cap I need the chrome caps off.

Ya just push up the mirror and there is two tabs on the bottom side of the mirror and they just pop right out.

Yep. Just tilt the mirror all the way down and the two tabs are on the bottom side of the top of the mirror frame. Two smaller screw drivers does the trick.

I had new ones painted to match truck..

I'm selling the chrome ones. I dropped one in driveway so it has a few marks. I'm taking best offer you pay shipping.
