How well will an HX55 work with Hybrids?

Trying to decide on turbo for my 238/100's. I got that HX turbo a while back, think its got a 65-66 inducer, not sure what specs are for the turbine housing, just 19cm housing. An input?

It should work fairly well if the turbine housing is tight enough. From my understanding, an hx55 is very similar to a modded h2e. I'm not an expert so take it for what its worth. Is it a t4 or t4i?

I believe Derek at Vision diesel ran 1 on his obs awhile back with a little bigger sticks, maybe he'll chime in an tell you what his thoughts are

have been running one for almost 2 years, with 200/200's iirc it made 484/1035 cool and clean.

with 238/200's and Cale's tunes, can DD in 120R tune with little smoke driving like a normal person, if i flat out nail it under 1800rpm in 6th/OD its a smoke show until it lights about 2100 and pulls till you let off. clean''s up to a grey haze and bury's the speedo. keep the r's up and it runs clean.

Boost/BP runs 1:1 43/55 iirc

I had one, good charger. It should be a 66/99 compressor and a 80/76 turbine. There is no way you need to put a tighter housing on it, it will be just fine with a 19cm.

Ive had an HX55 with 175/30 sticks for about 6 months I like the turbo but it needs more fuel then what ive got

Glad to hear the good reviews. Only paid $175 for it. Should get the rebuild kit for it. But NEED a mount kit for it and the discharge V band outlet elbow.
