Pretty big stretch to say that problems don't occur over time and mileage... Not the first time a motor has mixed coolant and oil by itself.

It seems many of you have forgotten that Elite was one of the first to come out and say that some of the blocks were cracking after stud installations... And if memory serves me right, they advised using Teflon paste to seal them. I would guarantee every precaution was taken when these studs were installed and I would bet the issues didn't arise from installer error.

Blows me away how quick people point fingers like there is some conspiracy here and foul play.

Didn't you break like 5 blocks before you got one right?

There is no right or wrong way to do it. I've seen them cracked from about every possible way.

I cracked 2. From a screwed up torque wrench that was applying way to much force. So I take full responsibility for them cracking. If it would have been a customers truck I'm sure we would have had to do something about it. Just because that's how our business is ran.

Sure it can happen to anyone. As most shops that deal with 6.4's have experienced it happening lol just curious what the studs were torqued at but that's be hard to find out.
