Yea you’re gonna need to drain the coolant, unless you want to make a mess. Easiest way is to pull the inner fender on the pass side, gives you tons of room to get at the hose. I prefer to pull the tire when o do that, but you don’t have to. If the quick connect is fighting you, take a flat head screw driver and break the little pieces off the hose that capture the white piece.
