Hydra Purchase

Looks like GH has the best deal on the Hydra with their tunes. Not sure why they don't ask for any specific info about my truck when going through the checkout process though. Anyone else have some insight on this? I may just wait till tomorrow and give them a call.

When you get the Hydra, you need your hex code from your PCM, put it into their converter, and it will tell you the code for the tunes for your truck. You then look it up in the library and choose the tunes you want for your truck.

Sorry guys, trying to cook a new recipe and respond to these posts. I am ordering through GH so I can get their tunes too. I will do as berman suggested and just wait for an email from them. It should be interesting to see how the different tunes perform on the dyno.

I found the instructions for getting the GH tunes. Looks like it needs the Hydra serial number along with all the other normal stuff (year, pcm code, transmission, turbo, etc.) to determine which tunes to dl.
