Here is some internet hearsay for you: A friend of mine, that worked for a very large, reputable OEM/aftermarket company told us (specialty car club members) that a roller tip on a rocker has no advantage over a non-roller tip, but that the fulcrum bearing gave significant gains in friction reduction/oil temps. Then why do all aftermarket roller rockers have roller tips? Because that's the only way people will buy them. If this is true, then the Hypermax rockers are probably a pretty nice piece.

The Hypermax are Exactly the same as the factory ones. The only difference is they are billet and are adjustable. Other then that the same.

You are referring to the wipeout ones??? No they are not he same. They do the same thing BUT they are not the same.

Look @ the wipe out cad drawing I put up in post 16. OR better yet look @ HRT pictures in post 6. They are not anywhere close tot he same design as the factory ones. They are built imho better then factory. The one main place is the pivot point. And the beam is better to.

I've got a set of the Wipeouts and have to redo the fulcrums. 1100 miles on a pulling motor, that was driving on the street. Not sure what the deal is and have not contacted Wipeout so, not ranting or anything, just sharing. I don't think you want them for the street, just based on what I have seen and what has been discussed.
