So,

I am having a hard time making a decision on what turbos to put on Shorty.

The truck is a street truck. No cage, so I really just want it to be able to run an 11.5 1/4 mile up here in Denver.

The engine will have Forged pistons, Carrillo long rods, offset stroker crank, Ported heads, etc.

What turbos should I run?

It has Max-Power X's now, but its almost too much, especially for the intended goal.

So I have really been thinking about putting on High-Powers. Any thoughts. High-Powers or MPx? I kinda like the idea of finding the maximum hp from High-Powers.

Truck currently has 150's (75% over) nozzles.

I forgot to mention, I have a used set of high-powers and a used set of mpx. So......mp and hpx are not in the equation. Now what is the consensus?

Is some one trying to get their truck ready for the shop truck challenge??:poke::poke:

You guys are all high, don't know where you get that from. LOL I figure it is safer for the single cab short bed to go bigger since weight was a primary cause of my issues. That and launching way too hard.

So you are thinking of putting the High Powers on there and leaving the 150hp nozzles on there?

From what I gathered the nozzles were going to stay

That's why my vote was high power x

Good spool
Plenty of air
Plenty of power
Prob able to detune it to a smoke free 800
Make 900 on fuel when you want
Fun to drive

High powers would be 800 but smoky imho
