There's nothing they're going to be able to do now that it isn't doing it. They can't diagnose something that it isn't doing.

not much else I could do, simply because it happened at midnight, if I would have let it just sit overnight im sure the batteries would have died

like rebooting your laptop when it acts up
but you can't blame your trucks computer acting up on Porn

I doubt it. I've ran my truck for 18 hours with the radio and sub blasting preparing for and then attending a graduation party. Key turned to accessory position. Other than pissing everyone else off it would've lasted till morning. Can't do anything about it now obviously, hopefully it was just a fluke but don't expect them to be able to find or fix anything.

Now that I know it shouldn't die I'll most definitely let it sit overnight if it does it again

BCM issue of some sort. Too bad you reset it... super hard to troubleshoot. Hopefully they find something

Tell them to change the BCM. See what they say.

Not true at all, it was doing this for over an hour before i decided to disconnect the batteries

I should have started with a disclaimer........ normally functioning trucks are programmed to behave as I described.

Kind of some good news today, they said and I quote "we found a plethora fault codes" they should know by Tuesday

Picked the truck up yesterday, and as we all knew they didn't figure out what caused it, they said all the codes were historic (which literally makes zero sense when the truck has a little over 3000 miles) I mean if it has any codes they should probably look into it....

So it's next time it's does it I'm leaving it and taking it to them with it actively doing it
