Just wanted to see what people have to say about the CDC upgrade. I have the piggybacks now and was thinking of changing them out if it is worth it.

CDC valves are awesome. The adjuability really helps. You can definitely tell a difference between the soft and hard setting.

I we can help you out on any ICON parts let me know.

I can't give any opinion on how they ride yet bc I haven't got mine installed yet but ill tell you one thing.....they are fking gorgeous!

So nice that I'm trying to find a way to protect the finish before I install them.
Leaning towards getting them wrapped in clear vinyl.

I have a feeling they are going to be game changers.

I'm running piggy backs with the cdc valves as well and like mike said, I like mine on the soft seething. Combined with my coilovers it's a sweet sweet ride

Shone, clear vinyl is exactly what I've been recommending to everyone. I've done it to a few sets I've sold.

Wipes of clean with a damp rag, and they look brand new.

It doesn't get better than turning a knob to change the whole feel of the truck.

Btw still haven't seen your new project!

Just curious, but are the CDC valves long offered on their piggy back shocks?

Mike, I just went to a shop we use for all of our plumbing co. Signs. Had them sell me 5+ft of clear vinyl wrapped them myself.

Are they raw? No clear?

Gare, the icons have a finish on them that actually stands up pretty well, they aren't raw. But salt, sand, and mud seem to eat any shock I've ran. So the minimal cost of wrapping them saves the headache.

CDC valves are offered on 2.5 piggy backs and 2.5 resi.
It is not an option on the smooth body as of now.

I would say the CDC upgrade is a must if your ordering new. That being said I personally would not upgrade from the 2.5s you have now. I think the 2.5s feel like the CDCs on level 7 which is a good setting for most circumstances. But if you have the cash let it rain, they are the best.
