See my post below, I modified it to pass visual inspections, with zero performance impact! Also if you wanted to keep your cat and have a true 4" turbo back you can do this ( minus gutting) and fit 4" pipes on either side


I've had them bang on my cat with their mirror before when doing the visual....:doh:

You can certainly tell a difference between a stock cat and a "modified" one. :thumbup:

I know its an old thread but...

About 6 months ago I found the cats off of a 6.7 dodge behind a dumpster and sold them 2 days later to a guy out of houston the recycles them. Easiest 325 dollars I have ever made

The problem is, these recyclers only want to give $30 for it. I called several. I guess because it's a 6.0.
For $30 I'll keep it in the tractor shed, not worth the time and fuel driving around town.

You can always make a dummy cat if you can weld
