I used green 6120 loctite, came with the cups from riffraff. The difference is the sealing clearance for what the specific loctite is rated for. Take your time, make a dry, oil free seal

it usually takes 30 miles of solid driving(i prefer highway with out OD) to get all the air out of your oil system. That was the reason of the extended crank. glad you got it all done though. how were the rear 2 cylinders?

7 and 8 were just as easy as the front cyl I used my phone to take pics of the bord to make sure it was clean and dry. I have put about 290 miles on the truck, and flushed for an hour and drained the the water every day it looks like I have fuel in it still. Any ideas or am I being impatient

It takes A LOT of flushing to get all the fuel out. Go buy some powdered cascade dishwasher detergent and put a cup or so in the degas bottle. That has always worked well for flushing oil or fuel out of coolant systems for me.
