It goes down so it presses against the injector cup

I put the two ribs down to the cup, like the one on the left in the picture.

You wanted the one on the right to go down into the cup. That's how all the reman injectors I got have been.

I don't know if doing it the other way hurts anything. I'd call an injector builder Tuesday and Ask.

Will do hopefully it don't matter since it's just a compression seal but I guess I'll wait and see

I always put the double side down so it seats against cup

Guess I'll just torque them down and see what happens. The ones that came out were flat so I reckon they'll smash either way.
Thanks guys

When I did my injectors, to be perfectly honest with you, I didn't even pay attention. Unless I got lucky and installed all eight correctly, my guess is that it doesn't really matter. There may be a "preferred" way to do it, but I bet wither way will work.

There's no special way. It's going to compress and seal either way.

Bet it actually came out pretty easy. I have actually seen more come out easy than fight you. Usually all it takes is a sharp pick to grab hold of a little bit of metal and turn it out. If that doesn't work, a left handed drill bit will work wonders.

Yeah I hit it with a left handed drill bit, I don't think it needed it a pick spun it right out. Broke a spout as well. Got everything torqued with the help of a babysitter lol, hopefully be able to start cranking it over tomorrow evening.
