Here's a few pics along the way. Naturally I screwed one of them up so I'll be buying another headlight. LOL

How did you mess one up lol? Didn't want to paint at least the inside, minus the projectors?

I have no desire to paint another set...especially not this tri-coat white color.

Oh...and to answer how I screwed one up. I put a drop of super glue on the tabs that hold the reflectors on. I had the passenger side lens sitting next to me, turned to put the glue down and somehow dropped a big glob of glue right into the damned thing. Tried every trick on Google to get it off but all I managed to do was smear it around. I'll just grab another light off eBay and snag the lens from it.

So simple, yet big results. I like it! Been waiting to see how this turned out. Thanks for posting!

Been wanting to do something to the head lights but was scared to death to have them done and not like them.

I like the look of the painted 11+ lights but I feel ya. Lotta time and $$ to do. Be easy to get 1k dollars in a set of lights.

That looks really nice! I wish it wasn't such a pain to tear them apart

I've already done 2 sets that were over $1000 each. Tried to sell the first set and barely got $400 for them. Not gonna waste money a 3rd time.

Yea I don't need any fancy projectors or PTM headlights. Really hard to make a set look good on Tri white. Chrome isn't enough of a contrast to make me want to paint them

Right on. I can totally respect that. Im going to do a set for an older truck. Its going to be silver so im going to do silver and black instead of just getting harley lights.

You were trying to clean up the look, you did, so if it didnt take spending a c note plus then even better. I like what you are doing with this truck. Im not a huge fan of lifted trucks anymore. Owned several and I must be getting old but i get sick of climbing in and out.

I agree I went with a lowly 2.5 in lift, easy to get out etc. I might just do projectors and the clear lens. Keep my lights chrome. I dig the PTM bumper and grill. But hate how rock chips make it look like crap. That, and bugs destroy paint.
