since i got the new s366 from Dozers diesel, the smaller housing is causing some turbo surge when i let off the petal. Nothing a Blow of Valve cant fix... Here is a little write up of the install. Figured i can get this done while waiting for a few items left on the interior

well got around to getting to work done on the Blow off Valve last night...here some pictures

so now that i know where this goes, what are the wires for?? is this it?

This will eliminate the surge of pressure back through the turbo when you suddenly let off the accellerator. The wires are for the solenoid that attaches to the accellerator signal from the pedal. That way when the thottle is let off, the valve will open. The valve will also open at max psi, which is adjustable.

Wires are for your tps. It looks for voltage changes since a diesel doesnt pull vaccum. Theres also a couple boost lines to run to the controller. Its a nice set up.

Am I the only one that noticed that weld didn't have any penetration for much of it? It'll probably hold for this but that wasn't a good weld IMO. Other than that it is a great job.

very consistent though, something you don't see much

im not a welder by any means, which is why he welded this for me, but i know he was concerned about burning through the pipe, so he was leary of going to hot with the weld....this should be just fine for this application.
