Installing blue fuel spring

Just got the spring in and about to install it. Any tips or tricks to make it easier?

Just got the spring in and about to install it. Any tips or tricks to make it easier?

Make sure to use two wrenches when loosening the return line. I didn't the first time and it started to twist the actual return line instead of the fitting.

Spray that same fitting with PB blaster ahead of time. Mine was incredibly stuck.

zip ties around the fuel lines to prevent the nut from sliding back, also coat every thing inside with petroleum jelly to prevent gasket swelling due to diesel exposure

any of the above. it will dissolve when diesel gets on it. otherwise the gasket will triple in size when the diesel hits it

Im not questioning your knowledge but are you the only one that has done this and are you 100% sure. Sorry if it comes off in the wrong way, I just dont wanna risk anything

Don't put too much into it just make sure it's good and tight. If I remember correctly it's an aluminum housing. Very easy to strip aluminum when threading a steel bolt

There all o ring seals no need for any jelly IMO. I've installed a lot of them and never had a issue with diesel swelling the o ring.
