Intake manifold

As of right now going from my house to I-25, 6 miles, my egts are at 1200 at 65 mph pulling, turn around and go home I see 1300-1350* at 65 mph.
I'm thinking of the intake from Holderdown, because I talked to them 1st and got injectors from them. Do you think I could drop atleast 100* of that each way?

A couple of questions:

-What injectors did you go with earlier?
-What tune are you running, have you considered having it toned down a bit?
-What RPMs are you turning at 65mph?
-You list a Pmax soon to be a MTW turbo change, have you thought about waiting for that before investing in an intake manifold.

Just looking at things that require less investment first, no doubt the manifold will help, but there is little data on by how much it will help your situation.

Injectors are Warren 155/30%, have been working with tuners alot, it's not helping, rpms are 1600 in OD and 2400 ish in 4th, egts stay the same. I'm not sure if I want a mad vgt or fixed vain yet.

155/30s and a Pmax, at those altitudes sounds pretty consistant.

With the RPMs I'll assume your a SRW with 3.73's.

I think you'd be a good candiate for a MTW Hybrid or Stage 2 with those injectors, and it would be easier to get dialed in than a non-VGT turbo.

I think you big hold up is tuning though, who's file are you running?

I just came back from a trip with my 36ft. 5th wheel and your temps seems a little higher then mine. I got 180/75% injectors with the Pmax and on some hills it got just around 1150 and 1200 but that was at 70mph and 1700 to 1800rpm.
Camper weight is 13000lbs +/- some and truck weight is ca 9000 +/- some

What kind of boost do you see, I'm at 10 psi pulling on flat and a max boost of 25psi, but I can't get boost over 22 psi without my egts going over 1400*.

Just got a new plastic pipe a year back, checked it, didn't check the IC, not sure if the tech checked it.

Should always say that on stock tuning I see 30-32 psi, 1400 egts on a 0-90 mph pull and no smoke on full throttle, part throttle it has a haze.

You need to get rid of that ASAP. I've got an Intake piping kit that i've sold to several members that replaces the intake elbow and that pipe with a nice aluminum piece.
