Just out of curiosity, has anyone seen v band intake plenums, that v band to the spider as well? Or just use the bolt connectors(not sure of the term) to prevent the boots from blowing off.

Most likely it is dave's truck from Alaska. Looked great!!

Most issues arise from the boots that go on the cold side pipe and not those in the intakes.

I've done a v-band on one side and maintained the boot on the other plenum for misalignment - it makes installing and securing the y pipe pretty easy.

Id say HRT has the right idea. With a Wiggins clamp, Im pretty sure your alignment would be crucial. Even just eliminating one of the boots would make install way easier

Im liking the idea of 1 v band and boot on the other, the v band should keep the spider from wanting to move around blowing the boots off. Thanks for the ideas!
