Is your tru cool a 4739? If so, it can also mount to the back of the front bumper.

you need to do some measuring for the intercooler. I'd go with the 7.3 cooler, as I bought a 6.0 years ago to do the conversion, then with the pmf rsk set up the 6.0 didn't fit, so I ended up buying a stock 7.3.

unfortunately the basb set up I bought from irate has a really crappy fitting down pipe that I've been fighting, so I can't say for sure its all going to bolt up right or not, or how well it will work until I get the down pipe deal figured out.

BE PREPARED to change out your cab bushings, and if its your daily you better have your ducks in a row or you might be pissed.

my DP runs damn near thru the trans lines, was told the cab bushings could be the issue, went to do the core support for the intercooler and found rust, so pulled it off, cut it out, welded in repair patch, KBS'd it and it seems to be one thing after another.
the instructions on the BASB are lacking at best, but maybe they expect you to be experienced in them. They leave out a few key instructions I think.
luckily the guy above me helped me out a lot. when you are ready to install, let me know and I'll tell you a few things to look out for.

it honestly pissed me off so bad, I almost wrote it off, its been sitting since October in the garage in parts. I fully expected it to bolt up since they touted it as bolt on, but its been far less than that.

Ouch. Well I've replaced my core support and cab bushings within the last year. I was picturing a weekend swap. Heard a lot about irate kits so I figured they were good. But you've replied to enough of my threads with help that you've got s good amount of credibility.

The kit was awsome quality...but....THe Down pipe i had to massage it and the firewall.. Biggest thing is the welds on the down pipe only i was less then happy with thick and fat allmost look cold 5/16 raised welds had they spent 20 min longer and just tig welded it it would make a much better product.. This was with my 366 kit. Rest of the kit was spot on..

I also have had alot of trouble with the downpipe. I had to remove it 3 times trying to make more room so it would stop touching the fire wall. It still rubs and makes alot of noise. I am hoping to do cab bushings soon and I hope that fixes it for good. If not I'm gonna need to cut and reweld it to make it clear.

I also want to shorten the intercooler pipes. They are a bit long and don't fit very good. I really need a tig welder and the knowledge to use it.

I will say i was able to install the entire kit in one day. That's with removing all my old stuff and installing the new and going for a bad ass but loud test ride.
