Ipr connector pigtail

I’ve been working a lot on my truck lately and yesterday I decided to look at my ipr and make sure the tin nut is on right. I noticed exposed wires at the connection from the fuel brown wiring harness to the IPR. Wires were practically touching. Got a Borg Warner replacement pigtail and spliced it in. WOW! What a difference that made. Truck runs WAY quieter. Motor idles much smoother with no small jumps in RPMs. Happy camper today. The connector was original. Hopefully no harm has been done since the wires were faulty.

I had the same thing cause a no start. Here’s mine after I cut it out. Also, in a pinch an old injector plug can be used too, if you have an old valve cover gasket laying around.
