Try driving with your windshield wipers on. It may not make a difference when its dry, but I thought that I heard somewhere that the windshield wiper motor can screw with your ecm, or chip if the motor is shorting out. It may be one other place to look at, if you are not getting water into the fuse box.

Does that make any sense?

I second the windshield wiper motor, had a customer having similar issues as far as windows and radio problems and it was wiper motor shorting out

Thank you, for a minute I thought it was possible that I made that up.

Well, I got the new windshield installed today and drove from Augusta, Ga to Tuscaloosa. It rained on me for over half the trip to Atlanta and the truck was cutting out like crazy and throwing a CPS code. As soon as the roads were dry, it ran like a champ.
I pulled over at one point and checked the CPS connection and it was bone dry. Looked under the dash as best I could and no hint of moisture.
Got lucky that I don't fry my PCM when I stepped on my chips cord and partially pulled the chip out of the PCM while doing 70mph down the highway.
I'll be pulling the fuse block Friday.

Just put a grey BWD CPS in it. I have a Ford one in the glove box.

Ha ha....no chit jake. My grey one from oreillys that was supposedly a close reproduction of the original ford piece was a turd. It was causing static in my radio and wipers would.make the truck stutter...
