Jose kept giving me the run around for 3 months with a big order I placed through him for someone else. Can't deal with him anymore.

I had to get custom adapters/spacer made up to make up the 2+" difference in length from a internally gated T3 housing, to this T4 housing.

Hope it flows better than the T3 x .70 housing.
But hope its not as laggy as when I tried a T3 x .80 housing with internal gate. The .70 has so much quicker response, I was only able to put 50 miles on with the .80, and I yanked it off.
More gate!!!!

Here's some pictures of the adaptor.

This end lines up the HX40 flanges.

This is the end that fits inside the housing, and seals up against the marmon flange.

The adaptor will center the exhaust flanges, and hopefully have a zero leak-ever again!

That's not what mine look like. There must be alot of diffrent versions out there haha. That one looks like the housing off the FMW 62 dt466e upgrade turbo maybe

I agree there are a LOT of different styles out there. Its hard to keep up with them all. This is a .83 A/R housing made for the 68mm turbine wheel. Its a Genuine Borg Warner housing.

Before the FMW unit, a 68 housing needed to be machined correct?

I'll have to get mine out and take a look at it, but I don't remember such a long snout on mine.

I am preety sure that is not the part number that is stamped on the housing.

I can check But almost 100% sure that is not it. The part number start with a 6 and ends with a 8 I will have to check.

One is taller and longer because it has an internal gate.
The other is a straight divided housing, no extra bullschit attached.

That number on the side isn't always a part number. May just be a casting number.

If I am not mistaken, there is a .83 T4 S200 turbine housing as well. Doesn't explain the different port size, but could explain the variance in housing look from the exterior view.
