So i bought my truck knowing its going to need tires in a month or so.....So might as well get some new Rims while Im at it :toast:

So here are a few questions I have.....

I know that Im wanting a 35" tire, but getting it to fit will be the challenge!!! So far i know that I will be going with a 20x12 rim and that produces a few chalanges....

First off i know Im going to have to level the truck to get them to "hopefully" fit. But being this is my first 6.4, not exactly sure how i want to do it and what exactly Im going to need to clear all of this.....

Will a leveling kit even clear this rim / tire combo or do I HAVE to look at a taller kit? I dont really want it much taller than what a leveling kit offers. So what are my best options?

Big problem right now is I dont have the coin yet to throw down on a good suspension system AND wheels/Tires....So I might have to go with a puck style leveling kit to get the wheels and tires to fit, then down the road go with a more quality kit and do it all at once and the right way when I can afford it!

Also, any one have suggestions on wheels???? Suprizingly I havent decided on a Black/Machined wheel or go chrome....

Here is how she sits right now......

I had a 325/60r20 (35.6"x13ish") on a 20x12. They had a 4.5" backspace and -44 offset... And oh boy did they rub with a leveling kit, with the wheels turned halfway.. i ended up going with a 4.5" lift + the leveling kit, to clear them.

Im sure more people on here can give some better info, but thats what i know from first hand experience.

Yes i had no issues with factory 20s with my 325/60s.. although they did rub the radius arms a little, but no rubbing anywhere else, until i put the 20x12s on, and then they rubbed the bumper and inner fenderwells.

I do know for sure I will be leveling the truck!!! I can't stand the way it sits right now, it has to be 3" taller in the rear...... It's annoying!!!

And I won't be keeping the stock rims on the truck either......

But I have thought about 20x10's.... Only if I can find them in the right offset! With a 2.5 level I'm almost positive I can squeeze in 35's on 20x10's, just haven't made up my mind in a wheel/tire combo......

20x10 with 35's will fit with ease on a leveling kit. 20x12 will fit just fine with a small amount of trimming. 5 min with a cut off wheel and you'll be in business.

I like the 20x12 idea but make sure you stay with a 12.50 tire so it'll clear. I run a spacer leveling kit from Top gun customs - it was cheap and does the job although if I were gonna stay leveled for long term I would go with the Icon kit/coils.

I was a bit hesitant on hacking up my brand new kingranch lol

That's just minor. I was clearing 37x13.50 on a 22x12.25 super singles with just a 3.5" lift with ease. There is alot of material you can trim and not be noticeable. I to have a 09 king ranch, but it don't bother me to get out the cut-off wheel.

Cut off wheel into panels..... Not a good idea..... But I haven't looked at what all can or needs to be trimmed.

As far as leveling kits, are there any more parts I need to look into other than the spacer pucks? A few kits I've looked at have said other parts are needed..... Kind of gets confusing!!!!

I put spacers on mine a few weeks ago. Didn't have to change anything else. I might would go with an adjustable trac bar, because it will pull the axel slightly to the drivers side.

I've had the pro comp leveling kit, just a spacer on the coils for 100,000 miles now. If you have the money a trake bar or drop braket wouldn't hurt.
I have 36/13.5R17 irocks on my 2010, wheels are a 17x9, and a 4.5 back space if I remember right. Fit is great.
