This truck has 325 bfg's that measure 36". That truck sits at factory ride height in the front. There is no cutting anywhere to make them clear. The truck doesn't rub. The only suspension mods were in the rear because I put a dana 80 and one up off road traction bars in the rear. The rear raised a bit because of the changes but the trucks stance is good because it was built to pull.

Sent while hooked to something, somewhere, with my foot through the floor!

Ok, so todays little snow storm changed my palns just a little bit!!!!

I found out how bad stock and badly worn BFG's really are!!!!

So here is my new....proposed plan....

Go ahead and get some 325/60???/R20 Nitto or Toyo M/T's and just plop them on the stock 20's. No sence in getting some new fancy rims dirty!!!

Then go ahead and spend some good money on the ICON 2.5 Leveling kit, or another kit that uses new springs or comes with more parts like an adjustable track bar. i actually think my driver side spring is sagging a little, but i havent measured yet to be positive.

Then by doing a kit like that I can easly add on parts as I go instead of redoing things over! i.e. 4 Links and better shocks down the road.

Then come Tax time, order up some nice rims (maybe I will have my mind made up on some rims!!)

No I need to start a bit more research on leveling Kits!!!

They're 2.5" spacers and I removed the stock block and put in 4" PMF blocks sitting on 35x12.50 grabbers and 20x9 bmf's

I've got more on my phone. I'll post when I get to WIFI

Now thats the type of look Im going for, nice filled out wheel wells, 35's, not too gawdy......But Might end up going with a 20x10 with a -24 offset to give it a more squaty look.

Ok, quick question....If I go with a 2.5" Spacer...What all do I need to make it work? Im looking at kits to buy this week, and cant make up my mind/there are too many options!!!!

Also saw the Zone Offroad 4" kit....Looks realy nice, and at a really good price!!!!

Going 35's for sure with a minimum f a 20x10 rim!!!

Truck looks great Scotty.

I agree with Forrest..don't ruin it. Wheels that stick way out just look ridiculous, like one of those low riders on 14" daytons that the inside of the tire is flush with the outside of the body. Black, or black and machined wheels on a black truck is getting way too overdone, and honestly looks cookie cutter as ***. You have a chrome grille and whatnot, and with black wheels, it doesn't look right...and there's 6 black trucks with black wheels on this forum I can think of off the top of my head... If you decided to do the mandatory black grille, bumpers, etc. With your black wheels, there's well....6 of those on here too. 20x9, or 20x10 in a chrome wheel....fuel, or bmf if you want..., and a 35x12.50 with leveling kit up front, and 4" block in the back. Keeps it looking like a truck, and not some cholo'd out douchebag ride with 2k lbs. of fat chick in the bed.

Well, you are right, although there are hardly any true blacked out trucks anywere near me....My last truck was blacked out and I liked that.

But Im not 100% sold thats the way I want to go. Being an FX4, the only chrome I have is the side F-350 badge, the Bumpers, grill and Wheel arches are all the Grey color. So it might not be 100% blacked out, and the reason I am thinking Black/Machined rims is the Grey parts will look close to the same color as the machined parts of the wheels, thus giving it an all black w/grey accents.......

Although i havent thrown out Chrome..... But I still have a few months before I go wheel shopping!!!

So far have a leveling kit and Adj. Trac bar on the way, and going to try and get tire Quotes tomorrow and get them ordered!!! Going 325/60R20 in either Duratrac's, Toyo MT or Nitto MT.....

Black grille/bumpers, and either black/machined bmf's or something similar would look good. Solid black wheels...no. Its your truck, as long as you like it, who gives a damn what everyone else thinks..right? Thats why there is variety pack cereal boxes!

Well, finally have tires on order..... Had to go with Nitto MT's because NO ONE can get Toyo's for some reason....... But had a tire sidewall start to peel away a bit and need a set of tires pronto!!!!

I guess after these tires are on then I'm going for Tuning and EGR delete CAC Pipe.

I'm leaning heavily toward the SCT TS and I hope it can give my truck some better road manners and with any luck get ride of this stupid 1700-2000 rpm spikes/loping!!!!!!!
