Apologies to the OP for mucking up the thread. I just hate seeing people being dicks for the sake of being a dick. You asked a decent question in the tech section and got bashed for it.

Sad, not that I wanted them on mine but I enjoyed where the thread was going. Then it became extremely pathetic. I am not a big fan of motorcycles but I don't roll people over the coals that are. It's not like the guy was asking how build a flatbill that rolls coal.

I was asking a simple question and it escaladed quick. I ment no harm by this tread! It was soly a serious question and was hoping to be a conversation thread, not a bashing thread on my truck.

an exhaust brake is just a butterfly valve in the exhaust that creates more back pressure to slow the engine down . jake style brakes are alot harder to find even on the big bore v block engine because the companion cylinders are accross from each other instead of in a row which would make it way more complex, so unless it was completely electronically controled it would be a huge pain to install on a 7.3
