Talked to chris on the phone about an hour ago and he is on the way home..... Has a vibration under acceleration but it was there b4 the trans and worse after.... with the mod list he has I'm blaming it on axle wrap

not sure, he was in a bad area for cell service so we didn't have much time to talk.... He just serviced the rear end with syn 85-140 and friction modifier for the LS.... whats your guesses

All true. Except now that i got home its under light exceleration too.

On edit: it seems to be lighter in 1&2 and the worst in 3rd. 4th and OD nothing. That's under light exceleration.

On edit #2: It was barely there before. While trying out the new tranny Brian gave me permission to give her hell. That was the first time it had ever seen ALMOST 100% power. Didn't start shimmying bad till I left leadhill.

did it start before or after you did the LS mod??

On Edit: maybe the a couple of the for bolt are comeing loose that hold the Ring gear caryer on..

I don't know. Y'all toss out some more ideas. I'll check it all tomorrow morning after I get the trac bars on.

If it does end up being the trans (which I highly doubt), he'll be here for the Race 4 The Warriors June 4th. He can see what it feels like then.

You don't have trac bars I'm guessing?

250/200's are gonna cause some wrap. Wrap is bad for the pinion bearings and ujoints.

If you lug it down to third gear speads in OD will it vibrate?

Here's a thought...we have a spare axle with the same gears sitting in your yard........just need to torch it out from under the other truck

double check your u joints, if you got one too tight it can bind, what about axle u joints?
