No he's not lonely. The dude helped you out and didn't charge you a dime and your bashing him. That is total disrespect. If the truck wasn't at sema why does it matter when you got them if they were a sponsor for sema.

I'm 21 years old and have respect for someone who is willing to help me. It may not be exactly what I was looking at but if it's free and is good quality work, who cares?

Actually the quality isn't good. I still am out almost 500 bucks for the lights that I sent him. It's not like he bought me a set of lights and painted them. I paid for the lights he just offered his services. Part of the deal was for SEMA but the lights were not ready till over a month after SEMA so had i been there or not the lights would not have made it.

Just cause you work out a sponsorship deal doesn't mean that you shouldn't get what you asked for. Would it be acceptable if he painted the lights pink?

If it was free he could make them what ever color he wanted if it fit the truck and looked good. The ones that you have fit the truck and look good.

You don't have to be so ungrateful to the guy. That is what annoys me.

I hate to beat a dead horse here

That bubbled up paint does look nasty, but they are offering to make it right... that's where it ends IMO

and FWIW, if these lights are for the truck in your avatar, quit wasting your time and money. That thing looks MINT with the OEM lights!!!!!!!!

dude, he sent the guy a $500 pair of headlights and they're ruined... Doesn't matter if he paid $400 to have them ruined or got them ruined for free, he's still out $500! You'd be mad too.

So why dont they get sent back. Baked apart and re painted. That would be my way of making things right.

I've baked lights apart twice to fix a blemish I made

Are y'all seriously arguing about HEADLIGHTS! HAHA what a joke:swordfight:

The lights look bad ass, I know i will be sending my to them to get painted... Josh if you are so meticulous about your **** why didnt you just paint them?

The perfectionist details are what make a vehicle look great. Look at all his previous trucks. He's meticulous and doesn't stop till he has exactly the truck he wants. If you laugh at him wanting perfectly painted headlights, I'd hate to see your truck. My headlights in my avatar didn't end up exactly how I wanted. Now I've got a new set of Harley lights on mine. Even after I was offered a very generous offer by Armen to make mine how I wanted. It was just too much of hassle to be worth it, which im sure is what Josh is dealing with. Details matter, no matter how small.

To the others, a deals a deal, whether he is sponsored or not. If Armen wanted them to look another way than josh wanted that should've been discussed before they arrived at his door. I also don't think Josh really need "help" getting his lights painted. It was something that would've been mutually beneficial had everything gone right.

Here is the deal. The problem is between Armen and Josh. That being said, everyone elses opinions don't really matter and IMO everyone coming in here and starting arguments over a fight they don't have a dog in is a huge waste of time and bandwith. Let them deal with it, it's their problem.

If you truly feel that way, then why comment on it? This is a public forum, if two guys air their differences here then we all have the right to comment on it whether you agree with it or not. They could have made this a pvt matter after the first msg but didn't.

I offered to send the lights back for 2 stock headlights. OR to send them back, I have had many PMs about people asking to buy these lights when he sends it back. And I'll do him another set.

and like I said above... "that's where it ends"

it's unfortunate when something doesn't go perfectly, but when a company steps up and offers to make it right, that's where it ends. you either let them make it right or drop the issue

hmmm... well ive done a few sets too and i know the chrome inside them lights can be very tricky... gotta be carefuly and pay attention and take your time... separating them is nothing, paiting them isnt much, masking them off sucks!! i finally got a method that seems to work pretty good in doing them and not having issues though. just so dang time consuming is the worse part... takes about a day and a half to do

good luck with it man hope yall get somethin figured out...

I dont know why everyone thinks I can just send the lights back for them to be fixed. You cant undo the fact that the chrome is gone from the upper bucket. Thats never coming back. I didnt ask for the buckets to be painted, I specifically asked for them to be left chrome, multiple times, multiple emails, and multiple photochops (poor quality on my part) of how I wanted them to look. Never once was I told that they couldnt be done, that there was a problem, or that the finished product that was already on the UPS truck was not what I had asked for.

I appreciate that fact that True Bliss is willing to "let" me send them back and have them fixed but they are not fixable....not in my eyes.

All I want is a finished set of lights that is 100% how I asked for, acceptable quality, no paint bubbles, and in a REASONABLE amount of time.

It doesn't get any easier than this, he is willing to send you stock lights, or do another set your way. Take him up on one or the other if you are not happy with what you have.

And I say that with respect, you for sure have built some amazing rides. I kinda feel like you are beating a dead horse at this point.

:whs: like already stated if he messed your lights up that sucks and you should get what you want. but the dude is offering to make it right and you keep refusing and keep b!tching and trying to pick him apart.

If he sent me a free set of painted lights i didnt quite like them i would either send them back for a stock set, or live with them, or even pay him to do it he way i wanted.

I think your attention to detail and everything being perfect on your trucks is awesome and a good quality and you build some sweet trucks. But 7 pages of whining is annoying. especially since he is offering to make it right on his dime.

If it were me I would have picked up the phone and called him once I got the lights and left this thread alone. Did I miss that part of the thread? Did you even call him or is this thread the first he has heard of it?

I don't ask for free stuff. I have gotten one thing for free for my truck. It was not packaged well and showed up all scratched up with a few dings here and there. My truck was heading to SEMA and headed to a couple of photo shoots. You think I would mention in a thread about poor customer service when the guy is giving it to me for FREE? Hell no!! I felt bad even mentioning it to him when I saw him at SEMA. If I paid for it then I would definitely be on the phone with them trying to figure out what they are going to do to help me out.

I really enjoy the rigs you have built. But I think you are handling this the wrong way. Do you even have a written and signed agreement? I would imagine that this isn't the first time you have been "sponsored" for free stuff. I know there was an agreement for mine.
