ID writes files for the other GT's for 6.0 6.4, and 6.7's already but they are not shift on the fly.

Found out more info on this. It's international only, bully dog tunes it. It doesn't accept custom tunes only what's pre loaded.

correct, no tuners have the means to write tunes for it. and if tuners are selling it over the border they are looking for trouble.

why the english don't speak if the letters are there?

it's a completely different firmwear from the regular US GT. It does not have non-delete tunes on it. It is strictly an offroad tuner with their own proprietary tunes on it

there are a number of different avenues for custom tuning available. this is not one of them

pretty simple IMO

Thanks for that. Spent the last week in Florida and I'm so tired to hearing Spanish and forms of Asian languages, probably mostly mandarin, that im ready to go home just to get away from it. It's not something I'm used to.

The only place that talks about it is the cummins forums. Not heavy discussed within the powerstroke community. Only seen a handful of videos for bully dogs dpf on tuning and they didn't seem that bad. Atleast no shift flaring.

compare the advertised power levels of the tunes vs. advertised power levels of comparable tuners...

compare the track record of Bully Dog's transmission tuning to actual tuning

I'm sure they'll work just fine, but they will not be the most powerful or quickest. I'm a go-fast kinda guy, so that's my barometer of "good"

If I want to go fast I'll get on my bike. I learned a while ago that making a truck fast is like kicking yourself in the balls. Your average deleted/tuned truck even with a bigger turbo like my 08 is hardly fast. Quick at best. There are a handful of people on here with fast trucks and they have mostly all become toys more then anything.

Then you have the rest of the people that would like a shift on the fly tuner that's delete capable and makes decent power that you don't have to worry about breaking parts with. I thought my truck was more then quick enough with the superchips dpf on performance tune which is only 470ish whp from what I hear. If I could have that and switch to stock to tow 20k I would be a happy guy.

That is why i like switch on the fly!!
One day i tow my work trailer , next day my fifthwheel for camping and after i want performance whitout reprogram truck computer ..

meanwhile, a 6.7 will tow just fine on a 150 tune

I am 28klbs gcvw. Truck has enough issues keeping temps down stock. Not going to add more power towing. Sure if I was only towing 10k. I use to tow 12-14k often with my 6.4 on a 275 tune. And the same 20k trailer on the 210 tune. It had no issues staying cool though.
