Is the obs unit still in testing? I was curious as to the specs and what will the turbine housing size options be?

You can always just swap to a SD setup, stuff can be had cheap enough if you know where to look.

Actually I had emailed KC on FB and they responded and told me release for the OBS unit is likely near end of the month. As soon as they are posted I am ordering.

nice. let me know how you like it... im going to order one for my truck except the superduty one. Ive done the regular garrett 38r on all my previous builds so I figured id give this one a shot since its new! I don't really keep trucks long enough to worry about rebuilding but still!

The other thing I had read on the testing is that the KC38R is a lot quieter than a 38R. The rebuildable asspect is just a huge plus in my eyes.

The quieter wheel will be a huge plus! My radio could not d town it out on long heavy hauls

Yeah there was a thread in the obs aftermarket forum. They are still waiting on the intake tubes before release I've been told.
