King Ranch running board lights

I wanna put after market bulbs in the flat plastic KR running boards, anybody know how to get at the stock bulb? Figured the lens just popped off but I think I was breaking it.

Go in from the bottom. There are two bolts for each light that hold a metal panel in place. IIRC the bolts are the only ones on the bottom that do not go through the mounting brackets.
